Little Richard's Family Diner: A Classic American Diner Experience in North Pole, AK

Little Richards diner is a place we take our family and friends to every time they're in town. The staff is always friendly and kind, serving the most delicious food with generous portion sizes! The decorations on the walls always give us a great laugh! He warned though, the pancake meal is not for the weak! The size of the pancakes are bigger than your face! But still so light and fluffy that you'll enjoy every bite.

Great food & fantastic service! Would recommend this place if you’re in this area. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Hubby ordered the eggs with reindeer & buffalo sausages. French toast was to share. It was a lot of food lol but kept us full for a very long time. Our server was really sweet. 5 stars.

Absolutely loved this diner! The food was delicious and the hospitality was even better. My coworker and I took our lunch break here while in uniform and a very kind woman paid for both our meals. If you were that woman thank you so much you have no idea what that meant to me. It really made my week. 10/10 would highly recommend eating here.

After being here for about a year and trying to find anything that came close, I finally stumbled across Little Richard’s Diner, and let me just say—it felt like coming home. From the moment I walked in, I felt a familiar warmth, not just from the cozy setting, but from the genuinely kind staff. I ordered a custom version of a Texas bacon chicken melt with hash browns loaded with jalapeños and ham, a breakfast I used to love back home but hadn’t been able to find anywhere up here. The waitress didn’t hesitate for a second and made sure the kitchen crafted it exactly how I liked it. When that plate hit the table, I could already tell I was in for something special. And let me tell you it wasn’t just good. It was better than I ever had back home. Every bite brought me back to those early Southern mornings, and for the first time since moving, I truly felt like myself again. I honestly think they should add this to the regular menu, because from now on, I’ll be here every single day ordering that exact meal. Little Richard’s has earned a loyal regular in me. 10/10. Each dish was well-prepared and generously portioned, making them ideal for sharing. The children especially enjoyed their burgers, which they rated a 9 out of 10, a high commendation from young diners. What truly enhanced our meal was the exemplary service. Cute little restaurant with that nostalgic classic diner feel. My family really enjoyed all the decor and reading the funny signs while we waited for the food. Our waitress was very personable and friendly. We ordered the tomato basil soup, a grilled cheese, a burger, and the chili. Everything was good but nothing was exceptional

We just left here and will be returning regularly! We had the bison burger, the cup of chili with onions and cheese, the Reuben sandwich with sweet tater fries with a side of jalepeno spuds. Everything was flavorful, came out screaming hot, you could taste the quality in every bite. The staff were so sweet and talkative, inside was nostalgic scenery, with the funniest signage all over the walls highly recommend for anyone who hasn’t been!

We LOVE supporting family owned little businesses and restaurants! We had the popcorn shrimp basket with a cup of chili and the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Wow the chili was amazing! Served super hot. Perfect for a below freezing day adventure. It was a ton of food that we couldn’t even finish the whole meal here. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. The inside of the place is very cute and decorated like an old fashioned diner. This place seems to get alot of business which I’m happy about. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a local meal at anytime of the day in Fairbanks.
